GARY JESS

      Born in Spokane Washington, Gary's musical talent began at the age of six when he formally studied classical piano at the DeCroff Studios. By age nine, he added woodwinds to his talents performing in several orchestras, and jazz lab bands.

      After graduating from the Washington State University, Gary moved to the Seattle area. Gary Jess compositions have been performed from cable access television to the University of Washington Ballet. His compositions have received awards from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. In the fall of 1997, Gary was named a Steinway Artist.
